Vintage 1988 Royal Order of Jesters (ROJ) San Francisco Court No. 4 enamel lapel pin. Unusual whimsical design features a large green alligator/gator wearing a chef-style hat marked “4,” with SAN FRANCISCO lettering down the body and an “88” emblem identifying the year 1988. The gator is shown holding a crowned Royal Order of Jesters/Billiken-style figure. Gold-tone metal construction with green, white, red, flesh-tone and brown enamel detailing. Single post attachment with clutch back. A great piece of vintage Royal Order of Jesters, Shriner, Masonic/fraternal and San Francisco Court 4 memorabilia, especially for collectors of the more unusual ROJ character pins. Pre-owned vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age. Enamel remains colorful and displays well. Please examine photos closely for exact cosmetic condition.
