Nominal Spring Dimensions: Length = 2", Width = 3/16", Thickness = .006" Nominal Weight Dimensions: Height < 7/16", Diameter = 3/4", Weight ~ .72 ounces (Mass of all three mounted weights with hardware is about 2.3 ounces)
You are purchasing a complete set of three (3) precision governor weights (already mounted to springs), (3) precision stamped springs, six (6) additional mounting screws, and six (6) washers. This weight and spring set is the most common size and mass used on Victor Victrolas, Victor Talking Machines and many HMV machines. It is the only style that was used after about 1915.These may also work with some earlier machines prior to 1915 but please send me a message BEFORE you buy them and let me know the exact model and serial number of your Victrola.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The screw size and thread pitch of the extra screws in this set is #1-72. Prior to 1915 many Victrolas and Talking Machines used #1-56 and #2-56 screws. You can use your original screws in these cases if indeed the springs and weights are correct. Please ask questions BEFORE you buy to help keep things as simple and clear as possible.
If you do not have a Victor or HMV machine please do not buy these unless you have verified that the size will work for your application. Springs and weights are NOT universal.
