The Rock-afire Explosion

NEW!!
This is the sound track to the new show tape created for Volo Museum in Volo, Ill which debuted to great fanfare at the Volo Museum on June 6th, 2026. This record is an 11 minute medley of the greatest car songs in music history and would not fit on a regular 7" 45 RPM record, so we put it on a 12" record and really enjoyed the additional space that gave us for an iconic and historic record cover, containing tons of historic elements from Rock-afire history and is suitable for framing. Side 1 of the record contains the mix with vocals while side 2 is just the instrumentals the way they rocked Shooter Jenning's studio before the voices were added.
The music tracks were recorded at Shooter's Snake Mountain Studios in Hollywood, California which is the same studio in which Prince recorded his "Purple Rain" album. The piano you hear on this album is the same piano Prince played. The musicians assembled by Shooter to perform these tracks were personally picked and directed by Shooter and enjoyed their work on this record so much, they lovingly called themselves "The Rock-afire Crew" and may perform tracks on future albums.
Vocal Performances of the Rock-afire Explosion characters, Billybob, Looney Bird, Rolfe, and Earl (by Aaron Fechter), Mitzi (Shalisa James) and Beach Bear (Rick Bailey) are the original character voices since 1980. The two new character voices for Dook (Brandon Shepherd) and Fatz (Shooter Jennings) join the alumni voices on this album with a lifetime commitment to continue making music and shows for Rock-afire fans into eternity with this record being "a new beginning for The Rock-afire Explosion".
All musicians and vocalists on this record will receive continued performance royalties as this album is sold.
Whether you already have a wonderful collection of Rock-afire memorabilia, or this is your first collectible, this record is a…
