Up for sale here is this complete recap kit for the Adcom GFA-555. This is not for the GFA-555 II, that kit is here.
This kit includes replacements for all electrolytic caps in the Adcom GFA-555, including the four main filter caps, which are replaced with new Chemi-Con 18000 uf 100v screw-terminal caps that are drop-in replacements for the originals. The other capacitors are the same capacitance as the originals and the same or improved voltage ratings. New caps for the boards are Nichicon PW, Panasonic, and Panasonic film. These are all genuine brand new parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild vintage gear.
I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a mildly complicated rebuild, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron.
