Antique 10K Solid Gold Khedive Shriners
Masonic Lapel Pin with Original 1900
Patented "The Victory" Backing
Up for sale is a beautiful, investment-grade antique Masonic Shriners lapel pin representing the Khedive Shriners jurisdiction (chartered in 1909). This stunning fraternal piece features the iconic Shriners emblem: a finely detailed pharaoh/sphinx head set against a hanging crescent moon, suspended from a classic curved scimitar sword. The banner across the blade is clearly stamped "KHEDIVE". (Fraternal Temple: Khedive Shriners
Chesapeake/Nortolk, VA)
Key Features & Collector Notes:
- Tested Precious Metal: The pin itself is un-hallmarked (common for custom early 20th-century jeweler pieces) but has been strictly acid tested to guarantee real 10K solid gold content. It is not gold-plated or gold-filled.
- 100% Complete Original Hardware:
Features its ultra-rare, period-correct "The Victory" patented screw-back clasp. The reverse of the wheel is crisply stamped "THE VICTORY" and "40". Based on its Nov. 6, 1900
patent, this mechanism features micro-stabilizing spikes on an internal spinning plate designed to lock the gold emblem safely to a wool suit lapel or fez without rotating.
- Condition: Exceptional antique condition. The threading remains perfectly crisp and smooth, spinning securely onto the post. Excellent preservation of the gold finish and fine linework.
Perfect addition for any high-tier Masonic scholar, Shriner historian, or collector of fine estate fraternal jewelry findings.
