Antique 1890s German Steel Toilet Pins Cube Sewing Notion Original

Antique 1890s German Steel Toilet Pins Cube Sewing Notion Original

A wonderful and authentic antique sewing notion, discovered at an estate sale and dating to the late 19th–early 20th century (circa 1890s–1910s). This original cardboard cube is labeled “Warranted Steel Toilet Pins – Made in Germany” and was produced by Neuss Brothers of Aix-la-Chapelle (Aachen). These small cubes were sold in haberdashery shops and sewing counters and are highly sought after today by collectors of antique sewing tools and primitive décor. The cube retains its some of its original steel pins, still set into the sides, a rare and desirable feature. The typography, materials, and construction clearly reflect the Victorian/Edwardian era, making this a true pre-World War I sewing artifact.

Perfect for:

• Antique sewing & textile collectors
• Primitive / folk / farmhouse décor
• Sewing room or craft studio display
• Shadow boxes, vignettes, or flat-lay styling

A beautiful, honest survivor with wonderful age and character, exactly the kind of small antique treasure that tells a story.

🧺 Condition
