This listing is for a pair of pre-owned early 20th century Chinese trade jewelry boxes or chests, each with brass fittings and clasps, polished red toned wood, a red silk lining embroidered with gold flowers, and nephrite Jade carved inlay pieces.
They're being sold in acceptable to fair condition, please read full description and see photos to confirm description and approximate dimensions. (This is not a "gotcha" as I'm going to give many details as to perceived flaws; everything I can spot wrong).

The inside of this box is in seemingly good repair, the liner has minor fraying and some staining and spotting.
The larger of the two boxes measures approximately 10 and 1/16 by 4 x 3 and 3/8 in high.
The front of the box shows some crackling in the finish at the bottom left most heavily extending all the way across the front.. there is light scuffing in the wood and percussive indentations on the left side.
The top of the box has clouding on the left and right side it is very noticeable, again there is deeply ingrained buildup under the nephrite carvings that has defied a…
