About this product
The reverse side features a friendly, bespectacled cartoon character inviting customers to "SEE US FOR" a range of financial services including Home Financing, Savings Accounts, Christmas Savings Plan, Travelers Checks, and Money Orders. This matchbook was produced by the Diamond Match Corporation, Diamond Match Division, out of St. Louis, Missouri, and New York, New York, under "The Ambassador" line, noted by the code BK 340. It's a fascinating snapshot of community banking and marketing from the 1960s era, perfect for collectors of vintage advertising, Missouri history, or matchbook ephemera.
