About this product
Black African American Folk Outsider Art NC Nellie Ashford original on wood.
Fabulous artist and better person Nellie Ashford painted this early work on paper dated 2006 and affixed to vintage wooden letterpress printer's tray (or type case), which was historically used in print shops to store individual metal and wood typesetting characters. Rare to find Nellie’s work on paper or wood.
