Highly attractive Boer War censored cover addressed to La Spezia, Italy. Opened and resealed with original pink “OPENED UNDER MARTIAL LAW” tape, with dense censor markings and foreign routing evidence. Continental European destinations with intact pink tape are notably scarce.
Boer War–period censored cover sent from South Africa to Stuttgart, Württemberg, Germany. Displays complex international routing, multiple transit backstamps, and wartime postal handling markings. Non-UK Boer War mail is scarce and popular with both destination and military postal history collectors.
