About this product

This is a replacement anchor kit designed specifically for the Bose Wave Radio top shell cover. These anchors restore the mounting points used to secure the top cover when the original factory anchors have become brittle and broken — a very common failure on vintage Bose Wave systems. 5 replacement screw anchor points (4 required + 1 extra free backup)
5 black mounting screws
Pre-applied industrial-strength 3M adhesive on each anchor

(You only need four anchors — two on each side and two on the front — the fifth is included free as a spare.) Material & Build

3D printed using durable PLA filament
Precision-fit for Bose Wave internal mounting geometry
Pre-applied 3M high-bond adhesive for easy installation
3M adhesive bonds stronger over time, increasing holding strength after installation

The extra anchor is included as a free spare in case one is damaged during installation or for future repairs. ⸻ Compatibility Confirmed compatible with:

AWRCC1
AWRCC2
AWR1B2

Likely compatible with most Gen 1–4 Bose Wave models that use internal plastic screw anchors. Installation Overview 1. Flip the unit upside down and remove the screws securing the top cover (typically five). 2. Flip the unit upright and slide the top cover off. Turn the cover around so you can access the inside. 3. Use wire cutters or similar tools to remove the broken anchor remnants. It does not need to be perfectly flush — just clear enough so the new anchor can sit flat. Clean the surface. 4. Peel the backing off the new anchor and press it firmly into place. You can use the remaining outline of the old anchor as a guide for alignment. 5. Reinstall the cover and screws. That’s it — your top cover will be properly secured again. Notes

The rear anchor is not included because it is rarely damaged, and not necessary once the four main anchors are installed.
