A beautiful and elegant vintage Cartier Swiss-made mechanical alarm desk clock, dating to the 1960s.

This particularly attractive example features a genuine deep-blue lapis lazuli mount surrounded by a substantial gilt metal frame.

The circular silvered dial is signed CARTIER, with black Roman numerals, elegant hands and a decorative gilt beaded surround.

The reverse houses the original-style brass mechanical movement with winding and setting controls.
