DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE (1968)
Limited-Edition 18" x 24" Commissioned Art Poster
Specially Commissioned Artwork by MARK SPEARS
A spectacular Hammer Horror collector art poster celebrating Dracula Has Risen from the Grave (1968), starring Christopher Lee as Count Dracula and Veronica Carlson as Maria.
This original artwork was specially commissioned from artist MARK SPEARS in 2016 for the KissMeMonster Hammer Horror: The Warner Bros Years project, ahead of the documentary’s 2017 limited-edition Blu-ray release.
An exceptionally limited edition of only 100 posters was produced.
JUST 25 REMAIN FROM THE ORIGINAL PRINTING
There will be no additional print run once the remaining examples are sold.
ABOUT THIS POSTER
Created specifically for the KissMeMonster Hammer Horror: The Warner Bros Years project, this dramatic artwork by MARK SPEARS presents a richly atmospheric interpretation of Hammer Films’ Dracula Has Risen from the Grave.
The composition is dominated by the menacing presence of Christopher Lee’s Count Dracula, surrounded by vivid Gothic imagery inspired by the film’s world of vampirism, castles, blood-red horror and supernatural menace.
Spears’ artwork captures the unmistakable visual character of classic HAMMER HORROR—saturated color, Gothic romance, beautiful heroines and the commanding presence of one of cinema’s greatest screen Draculas.
The poster was professionally printed in 2016 at 18" x 24" on thick, glossy paper as a specially commissioned limited collector edition.
This is contemporary commissioned artwork inspired by the 1968 Hammer film and is not an original 1968 theatrical-release poster.
For collectors of CHRISTOPHER LEE, VERONICA CARLSON, DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE, HAMMER FILMS, MARK SPEARS, Dracula memorabilia and British Gothic horror, this is a distinctive piece with direct provenance to the KissMeMonster Hammer project.
