cory vacuum coffee gasket seal

Cory Gasket

Cory glass siphon silicon gasket

Gasket is a replica mold from an original Cory coffee siphon glass rubber gasket.

Made out of 100% food grade silicone.

Pigment is also non-toxic

Both are stamped, certified, regulated and adhere to ASTM D-4236

Withstands 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Gasket is washed and sanitized before shipping, however there is always residue left from the manufacturing process.

Washing product before use is always recommended.

Gasket may feel sticky to the touch in the first couple of uses. Not to worry, gasket will not bond to glass. After a few uses stickiness will subside.

Gasket might feel too loose or wobbly at first, however, after many tests this consistency is best. Nonetheless, gasket will harden slightly over time.

When using press down with slight pressure, and you are good to go.

Caution: gasket and Cory Vacuum Coffee maker does get hot when brewing. Burning hazard.

The small imperfections in the mold does not affect the performance of the gasket.

I do hope you enjoy! I certainly have.

Here is a video I made of the gasket and it's effectiveness.

And here is the Gaskets themselves that I make:
