Daisy Model 1894 Spittin’ Image Plunger Spring Removal Fork. Also fits the Red Ryder.
This tool will not work in the new Red Ryders made in China, the 95, or the 99. Will be too tight.
The Daisy Manual refers to a "Plunger Fork Tool" (see picture) that can be used to depress the Main Spring for removal of the Anchor Pin. The Factory Tool is no longer available, but any servicing of the plunger seal requires removal of the plunger spring assembly from the barrel.
This is a 3D printed CARBON FIBER INFUSED PETG part that fits over a piece of 1/2" wood dowel and has the correct shape to depress the plunger spring for removal or replacement of the Anchor Pin.
A Slot Washer is included for removing the spring from the Plunger Carriage. Along with your caulk gun the spring can be compressed to allow removal or replacement of the pin that holds the spring in place. See pictures for reference.
THIS UNIT DOES NOT WORK ON THE MODEL 25.
