Dubia Roach Food 1/2 lb & Water Crystals 1 oz - Cricket Food Hydration Combo

Our roach chow is made in small batches for a consistent quality and nutritional value unmatched by any other. It contains a perfect balance of whole grains, protein, calcium, and other vitamins necessary to keep your roaches or crickets, and ultimately your pets, healthy on a stable diet.

Roaches and crickets LOVE this food and come running just at the smell!! Our roach chow is a dense, fine powder which is ideal for consumption and easier for your insects.

Our roach chow contains a consistent amount of 17% protein which is perfect for the health and production of your insects and reptiles. High protein (over 20%) generates uric acid & uric acid is bad for most reptiles. Our roach chow also contains a high amount of calcium, which keeps the Ca:P ratio balanced. Ca:P ratio is the ratio of Calcium to Phosphorus in a food source. Both minerals are important for the health and well being of your pet but it is vitally important to maintain a significantly higher Calcium than Phosphorus intake to prevent bone issues in reptiles.

This nutritionally rich diet also helps improve growth and reproduction among your roaches or crickets, but even if you aren’t a roach or cricket breeder, healthy food translates to healthy pets.

Water absorbing polymer crystals work perfect for all your needs!! Simply place 1 oz. of the crystals into about 1 gallon of water overnight and strain them out in the morning for fully grown crystals!! These crystals are about 1mm in diameter before adding water. Remember, distilled water works best because tap water will make slightly less gel. crystals will absorb to approximately 400x their original size!

For insects like crickets and roaches, simply grow the crystals overnight and place them in a small dish for a safe and drown-free water source!
