This is a DIY kit you need to solder the components it will be posted as a small parcel . This is an EMF detector, it uses the electrodes of the Photocell as the indoor aerial to detect alternating currents
There is also the ability to solder a longer aerial for remote monitoring Some experimentation with external aerials in your location will be beneficial.
The circuit uses the decade counter IC 4017. If a 50HZ signal is near the Photocell tube then the LED will flash 5 times a second. The circuit should respond to any alternating signal.
This kit includes a photocell tube valve, 4 pin.
This is for the complete kit including the 6V battery box ,(batteries not included) and the photocell tube valve . The batteries are 4 x AA cells, or you could connect up an external supply of 4.5v - 6 volts
Full build instructions , with circuit diagram provided. The LED on the board will be illuminated when an alternating current EMF is near the Photocell.
The build is suitable for the novice, with a well spaced out board and solder mask.
