This is an ESE wall mount timecode reader and display unit, model ES-941U/Amber. This is a large digital time display with 4-inch (10 cm) tall digits that are easily readable even from across a large room.
It has a 4-digit LED display on the front (digit colors are yellow/amber) and a terminal block connector on the rear that accepts SMPTE/EBU timecode (LTC) as input. Unit is powered by 110-120V AC power via an integrated power cable (with 2-prong plug for North American power outlets). Unit has a black aluminum housing with screw holes on the back for wall mounting.
Condition: Unit is used, but in good working condition. There may be some scuffs, scratches, and other signs of wear to the exterior of the unit, but this should not affect operation at all. Photos of actual item for sale are included in listing.

ESE ES-941U
Time Code Remote Display The ES-941U is a Time Code display featuring 4.0" bright amber LED displays. The unit is housed in a black-textured aluminum wall-mount enclosure (7" H x 19" W x 3.5" D). The unit accepts, via the rear-mounted terminal block, either ESE Time Code™ (TC76™, TC89™, or TC90™) or SMPTE/EBU Time Code. ASCII Time Code (format "0", "1" or "A" at 9600 baud) may be input via the rear-mounted terminal block. The ES-941U will automatically determine which code is being received. An internal DIP switch is used to configure the display for 12 or 24 Hour format, or to display the Date instead of time-of-day (if incoming time code contains Date information, such as ESE TC90, date-encoded SMPTE/EBU or ASCII formats "1" or "A").
