Famille Rose Medallion 19th Century Canton Teapot With Lid

Up for your consideration is this stunning and beautiful antique (ca. 1900's) porcelain pottery canton teapot. This is a Rose Famile Medallion pattern. This is a hand painted and finely rendered with a richly glaze and touches of gold gilt. This has a rose, floral, bird, butterflies and Chinese Courtesans pattern. The teapot has the original wired handle and it original porcelain pottery lid. The interesting story about this teapot is that it has a rare repair spot and the repair was professional done with staples. These types of repairs were done back in the late 1800's early 1900's on pieces of porcelain of great value. The teapot measures 6 1/4" tall x 7 1/4" from spout to handle. I see no other repair, chips or cracks. The wired handle is missing it's wrap. It is a stunning antique piece with character.
