Memories of Harry and Ida

June Felty Sutton

Privately printed

1986

First edition

A clean, well-preserved copy in burgundy faux-leather boards with gilt titling to front and spine. A couple of light marks to the front endpapers as noted; otherwise no notable issues observed. Pages are bright and unmarked, binding is firm, and the text block appears crisp with minimal handling wear. Overall a very presentable copy.

Handsomely produced in a maroon leatherette-style binding with gold-stamped lettering. Interior is printed in a clear serif typeface and includes family photographs, dedication pages, foreword, genealogical records, poems, and personal reminiscences. The volume documents the Felty family line, including references to German-American heritage and multi-generational family narratives. A classic example of a privately printed family history book, likely produced in a limited run for relatives.

Family histories such as this occupy a meaningful place in Americana and genealogical collecting. Compiled with care by June Felty Sutton, this volume preserves the memories of Harry and Ida Felty and their descendants in a deeply personal format. These privately printed genealogies are often scarce outside the family itself and provide rich primary material for researchers tracing the Felty surname, particularly within Pennsylvania German and broader German-American lineage studies.
