Gold Precipitation Kit 10lb Sodium Metabisulfite SMB Gold Refining Recovery
Product Description
10 lb Sodium Metabisulfite (SMB) – Gold Precipitant for Gold Refining
Recover dissolved gold efficiently with this 5 lb Sodium Metabisulfite (SMB) Gold Precipitant, commonly used during the aqua regia gold refining process. Sodium Metabisulfite is one of the most widely used chemicals for precipitating dissolved gold from refining solutions.
When added to a prepared refining solution, sodium metabisulfite releases sulfur dioxide which causes dissolved gold to fall out of solution as fine gold powder. The recovered gold can then be filtered, washed, dried, and melted into refined metal.
This larger quantity is ideal for refiners processing scrap jewelry, electronic waste, and other gold-bearing materials.
