Gothic Anatomical Skull Death Mask Écorché Model Halloween Oddity Curiosity Art

Vintage White Plaster Anatomical Artist Skull Facial Muscle Écorché Fine Art Study

Description:

Vintage white plaster anatomical artist’s study model featuring a vertically divided human head. One side shows the skeletal structure of the skull, while the opposite side displays the superficial facial musculature.

This type of écorché anatomical model is especially useful for drawing, painting, portraiture, sculpture, and fine art anatomy study. It offers a clear reference for understanding the underlying bone and muscle structure that affects the forms, planes, proportions, and expression of the human face.

An excellent studio reference for a fine art college student, atelier student, drawing instructor, portrait painter, illustrator, sculptor, or anyone studying classical figure and portrait anatomy. It can be used for observational drawing exercises, value studies, form analysis, facial construction, and painting studies.

Measures approximately 9" tall x 6" wide x 5" deep, 6 pounds

Made of white plaster with molded anatomical detail. The neutral white surface is particularly useful for art study because light and shadow can be easily observed across the skull, cheekbones, eye sockets, jaw, and facial musculature.

It also has a strong Gothic, oddity, dark academia, and vintage medical display appeal, making it suitable for an artist’s studio, curiosity cabinet, art classroom, or anatomical collection.
