All cast iron sold by Heirlume Time goes through the rigorous process of stripping down to bare metal utilizing all or a combination of electrolysis, vinegar bath, and some good old-fashioned scrubbing. Many restorers just don't do this process well and don't remove all old seasoning, rust, and contaminants prior to re-seasoning. We take great pride to do it right! Once the surface is prepped as if we were keeping the pan for ourselves, we then re-season it a minimum of 3 rounds with our proprietary seasoning compound. We also take great pride in our packaging and go through great lengths to ensure that your new "pride and joy" will arrive to you safely.

We want you to be happy. In the rare instance that an item is damaged in shipping, is not as described, or you just don't like it - please reach out received to us in the condition it was initially shipped unless otherwise agreed upon.
