Haunted Dybbuk Box Byzantine Relic Vessel Sealed Ritual Hear Contents Inside

have held onto this sealed vessel for many years after it was given to me alongside six others that were once part of a private collection gathered from a place tied to old religious paths and forgotten devotion. Out of respect, I will not reveal the exact location or origins beyond that. Some places are meant to remain unnamed.

What I can say is that every piece from the collection carried its own distinct atmosphere.

This particular box was always the heaviest feeling of the group.

The front bears imagery inspired by ancient Byzantine iconography, including the figure of Emperor Justinian and the inscription “MAXIMIANVS,” connecting it visually to old ceremonial Christian mosaics and sacred relic traditions. The imagery alone gives the piece an unsettling presence, especially under candlelight where the faces seem to emerge differently depending on the angle.

The vessel itself is sealed and has remained sealed in my possession.

Over the years it has been kept stored away carefully and brought out only occasionally during ritual work or periods of observation. The energy surrounding it never felt aggressive in the usual sense. Instead, it carries a constant feeling of being watched, examined, or quietly acknowledged by something old and patient.

There is a strange stillness around it.

Guests who have seen it in person tend to gravitate toward it without understanding why. Some become uncomfortable after prolonged attention to the front image, while others become fixated on it entirely. It has always seemed to affect people differently depending on their own sensitivity and spiritual openness.

The texture and appearance of the box resemble burned stone, hardened wax, and aged ceremonial residue. Under warm light the purples and blacks shift almost like dried blood or volcanic glass.

I do not recommend attempting to open, pry apart, or damage the vessel. It has remained sealed for a reason.

This is being sold as a tangible art object and metaphysical…
