Jack Elam hand signed card - Once Upon a Time in the West, The Cannonball Run

I have inherited a vast collection of autographs from my Mother. It’s a collection that was gathered over decades of waiting outside stage doors, writing to celebrities, and also attending special signing events. There are boxes with albums full of signed photos, theatre programs, theatre leaflets, small white cards, autograph books and more of which I don’t have the room for so apart from the odd few I’m keeping the rest are up for grabs and will hopefully find a home where they will be treasured.

I check each one before selling and will advise which are genuine and which are prints. A lot are personally signed to my mother with her name on, but this will also help confirm their authenticity.

A 2.5x3.5 white card genuinely hand signed by Jack Elam.

On the reverse it has the date it was signed and where it was signed.

High Noon (1952) – Played Charlie, a town drunk and gunman, in this classic western. The Man from Laramie (1955) – Played the sadistic ranch hand Flash. Gunfight at the O.K. Corral (1957) – Played the villainous gunman John Ringo. Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) – Played Snaky, one of the three gunmen in the famous opening train station sequence trying to trap a fly in a gun barrel. Rio Lobo (1970) – Played Old Man Phillips. The Cannonball Run (1981) – Played the crazed doctor / mad bomber in this hit comedy.

There is an imprint of a paperclip mark in the corner. See image 3.

I hope this finds the right home.
