4 ft 10KV Jacob’s Ladder Climbing Arc Electric (Not a Toy)
First 7 photos in listing.
(Please know this listing will now come with a light tan wood until the walnut material is back in stock. all dimensions are still the same.)
Quick Kits for 245 USD - Please write in. Yes I make Van de Graaff Generators too!
The base material is constructed from a 10 x 14” mahogany base using acrylic supports. The main column is made from a high impact CAB tubing with a bronze discharge rod running 3 inches from the top.
The transformer does have a ground fault interrupter therefore the spacing of the rods must be less than 3/8 of an inch to prevent the transformer from shutting off.
Please know that this is not a toy and should only be used by those with experience with high voltage equipment. The 15,000 V arc produces both nitric oxide and ozone gas within the clear column and should never be left unattended and must be used in a room with ventilation. The top of the tube uses a black cap to prevent discharge of the gas, but for preventative measures again this must be used in a well ventilated area.
THIS IS NOT A TOY.
