Kubota Mower Gearbox and PTO Shaft Evaluation Service

This sale is for the evaluation and, after your authorization, repair of Kubota Gearboxes, PTO/Universal Joint shafts, and Spindles. I can repair and rebuild almost any Kubota mower gearbox, universal joint, or spindle. I use only Kubota OEM gears and joints and offer you the option of re-using parts that do not need to be replaced. For instance, when gearboxes are damaged, rarely does every part have to be replaced. Same principle with PTO shafts and spindles; often, the U-joints or yokes can be replaced without needing to replace the entire assembly.

THE PROCESS

THE CHARGES

I charge a flat fee of $50 for spindles, $100 for PTO shafts and $150 for gearboxes, plus parts, for the repair service. I do not "upcharge" for parts; you will pay the exact amount I pay and I will include the invoice from my purchase of the parts.

An example: I recently rebuilt an RCK60-22BX gearbox. Parts cost for all new gears, bearings, and seals was $605.45. Plus my fee of $150.00 and shipping of $25.00 = total cost of $780.45. A recent RCK72P-1200z gearbox total was $605.85. A recent RCK60P-21Z total was $876.19.

FAQs

Q. Will you refund my evaluation fee if I authorize the repair?

A. Yes, your $25 evaluation fee will be deducted from my charge for repair. If you choose not to move forward with the repair, or repair is not possible, there is no refund of the $25 evaluation fee.

Q. Can you evaluate my gearbox, shaft, or spindle by video or pictures?

A. No. I have to have the unit in-hand to evaluate it. However, as long as the shafts and splines are OK (they usually are) rebuild is likely possible. I can give you a good guess from pictures or video, but can't commit without inspecting it in person.

Q. There are aftermarket gears at a cheaper cost, will you use them?
