About this product
Marketing – Advertising – Automotive collectors
The purpose of this 33 1/3 LP’s script was to inspire advertising and marketing guidance for salesmen to sell Chrysler’s Dodge Division 1968 muscle cars: CHARGER – CORONET – DART and SUPER BEE. One side of this LP deals with selling jargon for customers looking for manual transmissions, the other side deals with jargon for customers looking for automatic transmissions. The presentation is every bit vintage 1968.
The Ross Roy Inc. advertising company’s marketing team came up with the label “Scat Pack”. “Scat” denoting muscle cars, and “Pack”, borrowed from the famous tight-knit group of the era, the Rat Pack, inferring Dodge’s group of muscle cars were a group unto themselves.
