Magnetic Telescope Dobsonian Counterweight (~1.4lbs)

Add balance exactly where you need it without clamps, straps, or permanent hardware! This compact 650 g / 1.4 lb magnetic telescope counterweight uses powerful neodymium magnets to securely attach to compatible steel telescope tubes, making it quick and easy to fine-tune balance when changing eyepieces, cameras, diagonals, finders, or other accessories.

The body is 3D printed in durable PETG, with a glow-in-the-dark handle that is easy to locate during nighttime observing. The underside features a curved, felt-lined base designed to sit comfortably against a telescope tube while protecting the finish from scratches and scuffs.

At approximately 100 × 50 × 60 mm (3.94 × 1.97 × 2.36 in), it is compact enough to stay out of the way while providing a useful amount of movable ballast.

Please note: This counterweight requires a ferromagnetic/steel surface for the magnets to attach. It will not magnetically attach directly to aluminum, carbon fiber, or other non-magnetic telescope tubes.
