Here is a very nice looking Violet Ray No. 3 six tooth Comb/Rake electrode.
See last pic of a catalog page I have with this electrode shown.
This is a single glass attachment designed for antique high-frequency electrotherapy wand generators (such as Master, Renulife, and similar vintage units utilizing standard diameter sleeves).
This electrode was made in the USA back in the 1920s or 1930s and has the standard 7/16" end cap.
Was made by Master but will fit the vast majority of U.S. Violet Wands / Rays.
Condition & Performance Highlights:
- Tested & Fully Functional: This electrode holds its original vacuum seal perfectly. When connected to a functioning power unit, it generates a vibrant, steady, brilliant purple violet glow as seen in the photos.
- Structurally Perfect: The glass body is entirely free of hairline cracks, chips, fractures, or deep scratches.
- Secure Base: The metal contact end sleeve is completely tight. Unlike most vintage electrodes whose factory cement has dried out and crumbled, this cap has zero wiggle or looseness, ensuring safe conduction.
This is a particularly nice looking example, looks to have seen little if any use, no discoloration inside from depleted argon gas as is typical when gas is eventually burnt up over the years. Metal end cap connector is tight, no wobble or cracks present, very strong ozone smell when in use, very active wand in great shape.
