Moots full carbon premium high performance fork engineered to provide the perfect balance of stiffness, precision handling and vibration damping.

Suitable for modern era Moots Vamoots, CR and RSL rim brake frames with 44mm head tubes but NOT older/classic frames with traditional 1-1/8” EC34 headsets for 1-1/8” straight steerers.

Also ideal for any premium frame that needs a standard 367-373mm length 1.25” tapered steerer rim brake fork.

I bought this brand new one to go on a frame project that never materialized so I have no real need for it - hence the sale. I am however happy to keep it for a future project so in no hurry to sell and may also withdraw the ad at any time.

Matt black finish with subtle black decals of “MOOTS” and the Mr Moots Croc. These are probably removable easily enoughif you wanted to de-brand it or refinish it.

This is Moots’ final “peak rim brake” era fork. Moots settled on a 1-1/4” tapered steerer as the best configuration for high performance road bikes - where a straight 1-1/8” steerer proved a little too flexible under heavy braking and cornering, but a huge 1-1/2” taper option was overkill for road use.

The 1-1/4” is the perfect balance between stiffness, comfort, lightness and aesthetic appeal. Perfect for any peak rim brake era frames with 44mm or tapered/integrated head tubes.

This fork is almost identical to No 22 Cycles’ carbon rim brake fork - the No 6 Composites (which also may well be made in the same factory?).

The A-C length is 370mm - just 3mm longer than an ENVE 2.0 so a highly compatible…
