O-ring set for Nikonos V

O-Ring-Satz fur Nikonos V

Ensemble de joints toriques pour Nikonos V

Condition:

This NEW set includes 4 o-rings for: - Back door, - Lens, - Battery chamber plug, - Sync cord plug.

Second photo shows position of these O-rings on the camera (camera and lens are NOT included in this listing).

The next photo shows what MAY happen with old O-rings eventually (items from these photos are not included in the listing, they are given for information purpose only).

Any of the O-rings that is old or flattened will cause your camera to flood. If you intend to never dive with the camera, and only use it in wet condition such as kayaking, rainy weather or waterfall shoots, etc..., then you are ok without a service as long as the O-rings are present. But as soon as it goes underwater (diving, surfing, snorkeling), weak or worn out O-rings will flood the camera. Pay attention that most floodings happen the first 10 ft / 3m from the surface. The water pressure is enough to force itself pass the O-ring.

Shipping: First Class or Priority Mail shipping for US customers, First Class Mail for international customers. Tracking number is included.
