IF YOU HAVE A TYPE A TWO SPEED FIRESIDE LET ME KNOW AS THAT TAKES A DIFFERENT, LONGER BELT.* YOU GET THE TYPE B UNLESS YOU ADVISE ME.

* However, ONCE a customer's A machine actually took the shorter belt!! I have no explanation for that fluke. So maybe there is more than one out there that could turn out to need the short belt, but I've only found one in 20 years.

Here is a drive belt that is ideal for the Edison Fireside Phonographs.

These are far better than leather belts. Leather belts may be original, but they don't run smoothly, loosen in cold, shrink in heat, crack, and slip more easily if oil gets on them. Plus, this throw-on belt saves you the hassle of measuring, gluing and/or sewing together. I've been using them for years, haven't had to replace one yet, and love their performance. suppose it is at least 3 years since I bought my first one for my Edison Standard, model D. Never a slip or misalignment. Perfect speed regulation, because the tension is just right.
