About this product
Nikkormat FTN, a 35mm Single Lens Reflex (SLR) film camera manufactured by Nikon. Produced starting in 1967, it was designed as a more affordable, consumer-oriented alternative to Nikon's professional "F" series while still using the same high-quality Nikkor lenses. Features Mechanical Reliability: Known for a robust, durable build that can often operate fully manually without batteries (though a battery is required for the light meter).Unique Controls: Unlike many other SLRs, the shutter speed dial on this model is located around the lens mount rather than on the top plate.Lens Compatibility: It uses the standard Nikon F-mount, making it compatible with a vast range of vintage Nikkor glass.
