This is a 4 map set which shows where many of the homeowners resided in Old Saybrook, Connecticut in 1874. These fine maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.
What makes these maps unique is that it shows the homeowners names next to their dwellings. Also indicated on the map are schools, some named streets, railroads and rivers/streams. Because of the large areas covered by the maps, many of the names of the homeowners are quite small. Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, portions of the maps may not be shown. Please check out the pictures provided for greater detail.
Truly a great matching set. It's hard to make out the specifics from my poor picture however it's clearly detailed on the actual maps!
If you own a business such as automobile dealership, auto repair, hair salon, barber shop, restaurant, bar or night club these would surely add a piece of nostalgia and history. If you are a professional such as a doctor, surgeon, attorney, lawyer, dentist, veterinarian, realtor, accountant or genealogist, your clients or patients would be amazed. I have many more maps available from CT, MA, NY, PA, RI and NJ which are currently not listed but can be made available. BUYERS SPECIAL-------BUY ANY 3 LISTINGS OR MORE AND RECEIVE FREE SHIPPING!
