In a nutshell, use on hold messaging to:

• PROMOTE your company's features, services, and special deals to an attentive audience in a pleasant, professional manner.
• INFORM callers of your location, after hours telephone numbers, special incentives, and more.
• ENHANCE your image and make a positive and professional first impression.
• IMPROVE customer service by shortening the perceived time a caller is on hold and by relating information that is valuable to the caller.
• ASSURE callers that they're still connected, remind them that their call is important to you, and thank them for their patience.
