1080p High Definition
Private Google Drive delivery included
Reel Transfers has been preserving home movies and legacy media for more than 30 years. This listing is for professional transfer of Polaroid Polavision Movie Film to a 1080p High Definition digital MP4 file.
A Specialized Polavision Transfer Process
Polavision is not transferred like ordinary reel-mounted 8mm film. The cartridge must be opened, the film removed and prepared, and additional image processing is often useful because of the format's unusual integral color-filter system.
What This Listing Includes
This listing is priced per cartridge.
✓ Professional Polavision cartridge disassembly and film removal
✓ 1080p High Definition digital MP4 video file
✓ Removal of Polavision processing edge rails
✓ Transfer to a traditional reel for scanning
✓ Cleaning/lubrication as appropriate
✓ Polavision-specific gamma/color adjustment and image processing
✓ Original film returned on a traditional 8mm reel
1080p HD MP4 Digital Delivery
Your completed transfer is provided as a 1080p High Definition digital MP4 video file through a private Google Drive download.
You may also provide a compatible new USB flash drive or external hard drive with your media if you would like the completed files copied directly to your own media.
Reel Transfers can provide a USB flash drive for $25 if needed.
Prefer Blu-ray? High Definition transfers can also be delivered on playable Blu-ray Disc upon request. Please send us a message through eBay if you would prefer Blu-ray delivery instead of an MP4 digital file.
