100% authentic signatures of Major. DORRANCE SIELAFF RADCLIFFE, USMC (1914-1950 KIA); and his brother Lt. MELVIN ERNEST RADCLIFF, USN (1912-1942 KIA).
Dorrance Radcliffe served with the 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division during the Korean War. He was KIA 7 DEC 1950 during the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. Signed 1938 USNA Lucky Bag yearbook photo in nice shape with normal signs of age. SIZE = 3.75" x 4.75".
Melvin Radcliffe served as the gunnery officer of the USS Sims (DD-409) and was KIA during the Battle of the Coral Sea when the Sims was sunk by Japanese aircraft. His remains were never recovered. Signed 1935 USNA Lucky Bag photo. Size = 3.75" x 3".
BOTH of these are RARE signatures. Very fairly priced and not accepting any offers on these.
Read the entire listing carefully. If you have questions for something not already in the listing ask them before bidding/buying. Won't respond to questions where I already took the time to put the answer in the listing. Likewise I don't respond to questions that revolve around lowball offers. My prices are more than fair for buyer and seller alike. Look at the photos as they are part of the description. Combined shipping is a given.
I don't use the Best Offer option. I don't send offers to perennial watchers either. I will simply give the absolute best price I can from the door. It's the bottom line, no wiggle room price. If an item doesn't sell within two 30-day listing cycles it will be replaced.
Accepting want lists for military signatures. Serious buyers only. I'm recovering from a stroke and have zero patience for time wasters. No low ballers, no hagglers, no know-it-alls (I have Google too). NO supposed relatives, self-appointed historians/authors, or others who think lame bargaining ploys will net them gold for the price of tin.
I am not a dealer. I am a private collector. I have no overhead or a driving need to sell. But I have been collecting military signatures for over 55 years, and I'm offering these…
