Why spend $65 to just have a repair with only a 90 day warranty? What happens when you break down mid-season? Quality components COST $! We could offer cheaper service using poor quality parts - but that's not how we operate! We want our rebuilt units to last for 10-20 YEARS so we source only the BEST - HIGHEST QUALITY parts available. Trust the snow plow controller experts! THOUSANDS of units repaired/rebuilt!
There are 'new' sellers offering controller repairs posted daily on eBay. Anyone with a soldering iron thinks they can offer repair service. PLEASE beware of what you purchase and who you send your expensive unit to. Don't waste your money or worse yet, have an inferior repair done by an amateur tech with little or no experience. Please see picture #2 & #3 for an example of what the 'other $40 New York repair guys' do to your controller! Solder is NEVER to be used as a trace repair as once there is any heat, it can MELT! This customer had to send the 'repaired' unit to us for proper servicing and pay a second charge to get it done the right way. Of course we worked with this customer as we hate to see customers get ripped off.
