I have done these repairs for Mercedes dealerships and other repair shops.
Seller has 15 years of experience working on classic Mercedes and in repairing and rebuilding various components so this is not an "amateur hour" repair.
All repairs are warrantied so if there's any issue with your unit within 90 days, I will correct it at no extra charge.
(NOTE: If you need to drive your wagon while your fuel sending unit is being repaired, then I suggest getting a rubber or cork stopper that tapers from about 1.5" at the narrow part to 2" at the wide part. This will be sufficient size to plug the fuel sending unit hole.)
The price of this service is for electric/wire repair and cleaning/testing. It assumes that your fuel sending unit is complete with no missing parts and that you have a fully intact tube (not split or badly damaged) and that the shaft of your fuel sending unit is not bent or damaged (i.e. has such bad rust that it will need to be replaced). Seller can fix these things if necessary, but can create a separate listing for you for any additional repairs and/or parts needed to complete the repair.
