Up for sale here is this recap kit for a pair of Dynaco A-25 speakers (not the A-25XLs, just the A-25). This will let you completely recap two (2) Dynaco A-25 speakers. These are brand new Supertech MPT (metallized polypropylene film) capacitors, which are super-high-quality and will sound nice and clear. There are two 5 uf caps, one for each speaker. The old caps are pretty bad by this point, but these new film caps will get your speakers singing again!
Please note that some Dynaco A-25 speakers will use 8 uf caps instead of 5 uf. I have replacements for those available here. Please check your speakers before you order.
These are fairly easy to install as long as you know what you're doing. You will need a decent soldering iron, solder, a Philips screwdriver, wire cutters, and a hot glue gun or rubber cement to aid in mounting the caps. Please see my pictures for details.
All my small parts are set up for combined shipping, so just use the "add to cart" feature and then check out all at once, and it will combine shipping. If you have any questions, please ask.
Looking for more parts? I have power switches, feet, pushbuttons, top case screws, bottom screws, faceplate screws, white LED fuse lamps, blue LED fuse lamps, 6.3v bi-pin bulbs, 8v bi-pin bulbs, 12v bi-pin bulbs, wired 8v 60ma bulbs, new power cords, new main capacitors for the Marantz 1060/2230, wired Pioneer speaker plug replacements, new 630v yellow film capacitors at 13 different values, a large variety of transistors for vintage stereo repair, and more. Just use "add to cart" on everything you want and then check out for combined shipping.
