Authentic Scalamandré 100% silk hand-batik showroom sample from the Spice Island Collection. Large-scale tropical floral design in rich magenta/red, soft teal-grey, and gold outlines with the characteristic white dotted resist lines and subtle shading of traditional hand batik.
***This piece was sourced together with two confirmed labeled Bali Hibiscus samples from the same collection (pattern numbers 16051-1 and 16051-2 both in consultation with Indonesian batik designer Iwan Tirta).
Dimensions are 44.5" wide by 29" (matching the collection’s stated full width and approximate horizontal repeat). Brass grommet and serged edges are present, typical of Scalamandré showroom or loan samples.
Fabric has the expected soft sheen and textured hand of quality silk batik. Light creasing and minor edge wear from prior showroom use; no major stains, holes, or damage. Natural variations in shading and texture are inherent to the hand-batik process.
Ideal for pillows, small upholstery or drapery accents, crafts, or as a collectible designer sample.
