A wonderful pair of original ticket stubs from the 2008 Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George at Studio 54 in New York City, dated January 27, 2008.
This acclaimed revival starred Daniel Evans as George and Jenna Russell as Dot/Marie, bringing Sondheim and James Lapine’s beloved musical back to Broadway. The production transferred to Broadway following its London run, with Jenna Russell winning the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance.
For the serious Sondheim collector, these are a particularly nice pair to have — documenting a major revival of one of Sondheim's most celebrated musicals, performed in the wonderfully distinctive Studio 54.
