This is an item from ex-dealer inventory, and so it is never previously owned and never previously used. Unlike some ex-dealer inventory, there is NO price sticker residue on the package. It is absolutely MINT and complete as issued 50 years ago.
A great find for collectors of vintage magic from Japan -- this is a Tricks Co, Ltd "SUCKER DICE MONTE" from their 1976 "Original Magic Series". In fact, this was #1 in that highly collectible series of Tricks, Co magic.
The effect: two small black boxes are shown. One (on the right) is opened to show it contains a red die. The other (on the left) is opened to show a green die inside. The boxes are closed, and switched places, but when opened, the red die is still in the box on the right, and the green on the left. This transpo/monte effect can be repeated, and finally, one box is put away, and the audience is asked to guess what color die is in the remaining box -- it ends up being white!
Good pocket magic, plus a very collectible piece for Tenyo/Tricks Co/Japan Magic collectors.
The instruction sheet is quite humorous for its very weird English -- but I guess it is much better than if I tried to translate something into Japanese. :-)
This one is from ex-dealer inventory and never previously owned. It is complete and in MINT condition. Complete as issued with original box, instructions and props. Even has the little "Made in Japan" sticker on the Dice box!
Originally this pocket trick only cost a few dollars, but unless you have a Time Machine, you will need to pay a bit more now. That said, the collectible price for this item is not as high as some Tricks Co items of that same era.
PLEASE READ CONDITION NOTES AND LOOK AT PHOTOS!
CONDITION NOTES: this is NEW and UNUSED, from ex-dealer inventory. SEE PHOTOS to see just how nice this example is of this rare trick from 50 years ago.
