Tarot Vampire by CastleDark and Adam Ball 2006 OOP HTF

Tarot Vampire Adam Ball CastleDark 2006 OOP HTF Gothic Tarot Cards

Tarot Vampire features artwork by Adam Ball and was published in Australia by CastleDark Pty Ltd in 2006. Now out of print, this harder-to-find release offers a distinctive interpretation of tarot through gothic fantasy imagery and digitally created artwork.

Ball’s illustrations use smooth, polished figures and a style reminiscent of comic art. The deck evokes the dark world associated with vampires through its characters and atmosphere, with dramatic imagery that gives the Major Arcana and court cards a strong visual identity.

The deck follows a 78-card structure encompassing the Major and Minor Arcana. Its numbered Minor Arcana, from Ace through Ten, use non-scenic pip arrangements. This makes it particularly interesting for readers who enjoy interpreting suit symbols and numerical relationships alongside the character-based imagery of the other cards.

Published during the expansion of vampire-themed tarot in the 2000s, Tarot Vampire represents a lesser-known Australian contribution to the genre. Its artist-led visual approach and CastleDark publication make it an appealing addition for collectors of obscure tarot releases, gothic illustration, and vampire-related artwork.
