A beautiful REPRODUCTION piece that approximately measures 3.0" Tall 1.75" Wide also known as a "ninth-plate" tintype. Does stick to a magnet. "Tintypes" also be known as "Melainotypes" or "Ferrotype" Photographs. Tintypes enjoyed their widest use during the 1860's and 1870's and lasted into the very early 1900's.
