2017 USPS Love Skywriting Forever Postage Stamp (Scott #5155), officially issued on January 7, 2017, in Chino, California. This single-design self-adhesive stamp belongs to the classic USPS Love series. It shows the word “Love” written in white cursive skywriting smoke against a soft light-blue sky with wispy clouds. A tiny stylized airplane is seen at the end of the smoke trail. Designed by Louise Fili and illustrated by Jessica Hische.
As domestic Forever stamps, they cover postage for 1-ounce First-Class Mail letters within the US, unaffected by future postal rate hikes. Ideal for wedding invitations, Valentine’s greetings and romantic correspondence, widely collected by Love-theme stamp fans.
