Description
Rare Vintage 1968 Rickie Tickie Stickies - Instant Collection Lot of 3 Unopened Packs!
Up for purchase is an incredible trio of well-preserved 1960s counter-culture history. This listing is for a total of THREE (3) authentic, unopened packages of original Rickie Tickie Stickies vinyl decals.
Invented by California ad executive Don Kracke in late 1967, these peel-and-stick decals became a massive cultural phenomenon by 1968—famously plastered across VW buses, surfboards, suitcases, and bedroom walls.
What is Included in This Lot:
1. Two (2) Paisley Packs: Matching New Old Stock (NOS) packs featuring the vibrant, psychedelic Paisley pattern, one Lime Green and Royal Blue and one grass green and royal blue. Both are sealed in their original wrappers.
2. One (1) Heart Pack: A classic, warm-toned Mod heart design featuring retro shades of red, bright pink, orange, and tan. This pack is unopened and unused, though please note there is a notable tear in the outer wrapping across the front. The vinyl sheets inside remain completely pristine, unpeeled, and bright.
Item Highlights:
- Condition: All three packs are New Old Stock (NOS), remaining on their original cardboard backing inserts showing the iconic retro usage graphics and the original vintage $2.00 retail price mark.
- Preservation: The vinyl backing sheets show nominal, expected age-related curvature from storage but the colors remain exceptionally vivid.
This is a fantastic instant-collection opportunity for collectors of mid-century pop art, vintage advertising, California surf culture, or 1960s…
