Highly collectible vintage fabric from Von Hamm & Young, Hawaii. Medium weight cotton. Measures 35.5 inches from selvage to selvage and is 3.5 yards in length. Excellent condition. Unused. Never prepped or washed.
About the color: the camera would not/could not capture the purples accurately. In hand the colors are even and uniform. In some pics, the camera read the lighter tones too light and read the purple on the blue side. It has more royal or slightly warm purple tone(s). Purple is the rarest colorway for this print. The tones range from medium to midnight. The metallic gold highlights the design elements beautifully and gives life to the scenes.
Design features outrigger canoes or wa‘a, organic huts or hale, surfers, palm trees, hibiscus, plumeria, bird-of-paradise and stylized botanical elements. Clearly marked "VHY HAWAIIAN TEXTILES" on selvage.
Whenever possible, items will be combined.
