Vintage Copper Grouse Wall Art Lake House Hunting Lodge Cabin Rustic Goose Bird

This 1963 Coppercraft Guild grouse wall plaque has that rich, woodsy character that makes a room feel collected, cozy and warm. A three dimensional grouse emerges from woodland foliage against a warm copper background, surrounded by a deep chocolate brown/black scalloped edge frame with coppery highlights peeking through. It is made for the cabin wall. The lake house. The den with old books and worn leather. The hunting lodge. The cozy New England home filled with pieces that look like they’ve been gathered over decades rather than ordered all at once. The dimensional design is especially beautiful when the light catches it, bringing out the individual feathers, leaves and warm copper backdrop. It has a wonderfully aged, almost carved appearance and plenty of genuine vintage patina. Made in the USA by Dart Industries for Coppercraft Guild and dated 1963 on the reverse. Original Coppercraft Guild foil label is still present. Marked: COPYRIGHT MCMLXIII DART IND. MADE IN U.S.A. 4600 Ready to hang with an attached hanger on the back. Easel shown for display purposes only and is not included. Condition: Good vintage condition with visible age-related wear, rubbing and areas where the warmer copper tone shows through the dark finish. Rather than detracting from the piece, the wear gives it the beautifully timeworn character you want from something that has been around since 1963. Please see all photos for the best representation of condition. A fantastic piece for anyone collecting vintage sporting art, grouse decor, cabin and lodge furnishings, or mid-century woodland pieces.
